Various Interesting Things.

A small collection of interesting things have been happening to me lately regarding coincidence and the like. They are all disconnected and barely worth getting worked up about -- but certainly worth a post to the old blog.

1.) I was working last Saturday morning at Panera and it was a typically packed Saturday lunch rush. One of the regular Food Line people, Amber, was working one half of the sandwich line and I was working the other. Nothing unusual was going on until she moved down to organize the food we had made on the numerous plates. She called out someone's order and two college guys came to collect the food. They offered their reciept as proof of ownership of the food, but Amber waved it off. Panera never checks the reciept, but some people still offer. Anyway, the two guys laugh and say something along the lines of being willing to show photo ID. Amber replies about probably needing to see some Social Security cards. Someone suggest dental records and a blood sample. Laugh Laugh, Giggle Giggle -- another break in the monotony. But the kicker was that the t-shirt of one of the guys had something written on it in big block letters. Against a gold yellow backround in faded navy blue it read "Trust Me."

2.) While enjoying a 15 minute break between classes I decided to hit the vending machine room in the SOC building and grab some grub. I walk in with my headphones going and see a young woman looking at me with two bottles of orange juice in her hands. I yank out the earbuds and she offers one of the bottles, explaining that the machine gave her two and she only wanted one. Score. So I accept and head out to some steps to drink it and rock out to one more song. After class I decide I'm still hungry and head back into the vending machine room. I walk over to the snack machine and find it's jammed with quarters and nickels. With minimal effort I release the coinage from unneccessary bondage and purchase a recieces buttercup and a babyruth bar with the newly released loot. Nice,

3.) Walked into a surprise quiz (or at least one I didnt know about) in Sociocultural Aspects of Aging but with a little bit of luck still managed to get a 100%. Excellent.

4.) Ran into my old friend Desiree on campus though I've never seen her there before. Ran into my old roommate Danny at Panera though I've never seen him there before. Ran into an idea I can't shake... it's...it's....it's A creativity thinktank. An art collective. A park in spirit, but indoors. More explanation next post.

I like the video on google :-) short and sweet. No one has tracked back yet to say anything, so I am. There you go.

i want to be in florida right NOW. i want to be in this "art collective." but first, i want to know what it is lol. dad said something about an old crappy warehouse (for the lack of funds lol) and i like art so im guessing it has something to do with art, showing it maybe? or buying and selling? or a mix of all of that.
I'd ask (and i will) since you're online, but you never answer you McAsshole (courtesy of The Longest Yard, and complete sarcasm :) lol)

I believe the word existential has forever been tied in my mind to i heart huckabees. Have you ever transcended space and time?
