I'm Scared.

I'm scared. It's becoming startingly clear that Bush broke the law, big time. If the Democrats regain control of the Congress in mid-term elections next year it is not at all unreasonable to suspect Bush will get impeached. I'm a little scared he won't go quietly. And if he does, Dick Cheney will replace him. That's scary too.

But what really scares me is that this would be the third impeachment process in the past three decades. Impeachments are terrible things for the country. For them to be happening with more and more frequency makes the once famously stable United States feel shaky.

That's scary.
